Cushion Cover

This idea of embroidering on pre-printed fabric had come up at feeling stitchy in the August Stitch along and I had started it then as it seemed like a lovely idea to embellish a piece of cloth which had a printed design already on it.However, it was languishing in the backyard for a while as I was unsure on what it would finally turn to become.

Little did I know that on one wintery evening in November it would suddenly strike me that two simple stitches can convert it to a cushion on the couch. Now just waiting for the guests to walk in a pour over the complements 🙂

The embroidery is rather basic with a bit of buttonhole, lazy dazy, running stitch—also some sequins and seed beads added to it.

I am quite pleased as it turned out to be a simple small cushion cover with embroidery detail —looks interesting !

I am linking it to {Sew} Modern Monday.
