  1. I’m new to sewing and am determined to attempt zippers in the new year. Pouches, bags, and a dress for my daughter – buttons and loops only get me so far! And the bright colors are so much fun!

  2. I love making all kinds of bags. Handbags, gym bags, and laptop bags. Thanks for the giveaway. I love a pop of color that fun zippers add.

  3. My most difficult attempt at a zipper so far has been inside zippered pockets in a large Gym bag. They came ok pretty well although it wasn’t anywhere near as easy as a simple pouch….hard to keep it straight! Thanks for the chance.

  4. It’s been a long time, but I did sew a skirt with a zipper. I should be a good grandma and sew some clothing for my granddaughter but accessories are much more fun.

  5. There are so many wonderful things to do with zippers, but it would be a great sewn into a really cute, colorful mini dress or skirt. Thanks for the chance! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I”m new to sewing so I haven’t tried doing zippers yet! I would like to make a purse/bag/tote next year so I”d save them for that project! Thanks for a chance to win all this “loot”!

  7. I avoid zippers at all costs… I know I should be able to do it but I’m scared. Would like to use it in a bag of some description.

  8. Oh I would use the blue and green one and make a purse for my sons fiancรฉ and the pink and orange for a purse for myslef

  9. I could make a beautiful tote bag or bags. Great idea. Thank you for being a part of the Sew Mama Sew giveaway and giving me the chance to win these zippers and thread. Merry Christmas to you.

  10. It can’t be called a simple pouch but I want to make a ‘bionic gear bag’ which has lots of zippers and a nice design to hold lots of stuff. Cindy

  11. Those zippers and thread are so bright and fun, it would interesting to have them paired on a skirt or dress. Great giveaway!

  12. They look long enough to make a little hoodie. (If not, a half zip pullover will work!) I have a couple patterns waiting to be made…

  13. I’ve only ever used zippers for pouches and for cushion cover openings… nothing very exciting. I’ve never made clothes before, which is the only other thing I can think of using them for.

  14. I am going to use a zipper for a silk pillowcase I am making for my Mom for Christmas. ๐Ÿ™‚ Other than that I would probably use a zipper for a dress for me!

  15. I love using contrast zippers on dresses I make ๐Ÿ™‚ Also making zippered roses i recently learnt might look good on these colorful zippers. Thanks:)

  16. I would use them as dress zippers. This summer I made a dress for myself that used vintage brown fabric with white pindots and coral flowers and used a not-really-matching bright zipper. And every time I see it peek out it makes me happy ๐Ÿ™‚ Clearly I need to make more similar dresses!

  17. HI, I use them for quilted cosmetic bags mostly. When I was younger I did do garment sewing for the daughters and used them in skirts+dresses. Now I’m retired to hand+machine quilting mostly. Thanks for a really neat giveaway!
    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!

  18. I’m not very proficient with zippers, but if I win, I have a friend who likes to make pouches and could use them.

  19. I really love making bags of all sizes with lots of zippers! I’ve been thinking of using some zipper leftovers on baby taggy blankets but I need to make sure they wouldn’t pinch their tiny mouth or anything first.

  20. I admit I’ve never sewn a zipper in before- but it’s something I want to learn soon because I have a few cute girl’s dresses that require one! Thanks!

  21. I would use them on dressed for my girl, or maybe on a skirt for me. Nowadays the vissible zipper is very stylish ๐Ÿ˜‰

  22. I’ve made two backpacks (the Betz White Jet Pack), and one Weekender (in-progress), and two Sew-Together (by Sew Demented) bags. My first Sew Together bag included the 2nd, 3rd & 4th zippers I’d ever sewn, and then I was off and running! ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. I love bags with lots of zippered pockets. It just occurred to me that pockets with different colored zips and different fobs would make it easy to remember what is where and to hit the right pocket on the first (or second) try.

  24. I have not used zippers to often yet I did make a carry on for the plane flight a fe months ago and I put a zipper in a pair of jammies for my grandson

  25. I’m making art folios for my granddaughters. It would be great to have a zippered section for loose pencils, etc. Thanks for the chance!

  26. Awesome giveaway! These are so bright and fun! I’ve only used zippers for my pouches. I mostly make quilts but am wanting to try sewing a cargo bag next.

Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

  27. I saw a sweater today with zippers at the sides at the bottom of the sweater. It was cool. I would like to try that.

  28. I just replaced a zipper in one of those blow up lawn ornaments for a friend. (It was a polar bear with a santa hat.) And I did it on my grandma’s antique Singer featherweight to boot! I’m pretty sure that’s the most unusual zipper use ever! Thanks for the chance to win!

  29. I plan on venturing into clothes for me, so these could come in handy! I have used zippers in bags in the past, but also on kid’s PJ’s. These zippers may go well in those also – bright/loud zippers are good for PJ’s

  30. Those look like awesome zippers! Love the bright colors!
I’d use them in either a purse or some clothing like welt pockets or a zip fly. ๐Ÿ™‚

  31. It depends on how long the zips are but I would use them in skirts or dresses for my granddaughters clothes that I make.

  32. bags, cushion cases, dresses, skirts … Iwould most likely use them for cushion cases though .. I don’t like sewing button holes …

  33. I have a pattern for a pouch with 3 inner pouches each with their own zipper and then a long zipper which closes the outer part and is also the handle. That is what I would make.

  34. I just bought a pattern that calls for several zippers (of different colors!). So yay! thanks for sharing notwendy gmail

  35. Hi there,
I would finally make the Sew Together zippered pouch. It is anything but a simple pouch, with multiple zippered pockets and bias binding. The pattern is by Sew Demented and you can get it on Craftsy! I also need a zipper for a sundress I was supposed to make for myself this past summer
Thanks so much for the giveaway,
