A pair of lovely canvas yards from chennai. The one in the bottom definitely needs to be fuzzy cut and made into a bag…it looks so retro chic!

The one on top would make a perfect beach tote 😊

Some cute vehicle print for kids. Totally love it…its perfectly quilt weight and would be a joy to sew with πŸ™‚
This promptly goes on to get added to the stash in the quilting fabric cupboard to be brought out when emergency strikes-those times when a baby quilt has to be produced overnight(well! almost overnight) and there is no time to make a pieced quilt. The print is bright and beautiful so no point cutting into it, unless its a fuzzy cut pattern and keeps the vehicles intact.

Indian Fabric

I ordered this from Prabha Mathew from Quiltaholics on Facebook. I am always happy with her professional packaging and timely service.

Hubby went traveling and got home some Quilt fabric as gift. For a quilter what could be a better gift than coordinated fabric. These would make lovely coffee table runners or coasters or maybe just plain table mats.

Love the coordinated colours and print. There are dozens more…stay tuned to see them over the next few Sundays πŸ™‚

My quilting Guru and mentor,Shruti has recently started a designer fabric enterprise in India. Prior to this, there were no International designer fabrics available here. Any Tula Pink, Heather Graham or Alison Glass had to be bought in teh uS and brought in by a travelling friend, home.

This is the third week in the running and they are selling like hot cakes. I was barely able to manage some wide strips in the mad frenzy to be the first one to get my portion of the limited quantity fabric. But I love the apprehension of waiting for the new set to show up on Monday morning, the excitement of being the first one to grab a particular piece and the friendly banter amongst the fellow quilters when a desired fabrics is taken up by others before you.

I love designer fabric and have been eyeing some Riley Blake chevrons for a while. Finally had the opportunity to get 2 metres of Riley Blake chevron and one metre of black orinetal print.

The chevrons will turn into cushion covers, hopefully soon and the other will just get added to my overflowing fabric stash πŸ™‚
A girl needs to have her own designer stash, to dig in and make a project at the middle of the night when creativity strikes!

This is an online store for all fabric and quilting needs for the India quilter. Rohinni is professional with her dealings and knows her fabric well. Its a pleasure receiving fabric from her as she maintains her quilt grade fabric benchmark and details are as per those mentioned online. This fabric is so Modern and cute!! I fell for it the moment I saw it. Thanks Rohinni for the Christmas happiness and cheer you have shared.
