A new travel fabric from Quiltaholics for a passport wallet. Love the print and the amount of fabric is just enough for a small pouch 🙂
I am just amassing a lot of fabric wealth with the hope that someday I will be able to sew all that I want to from the stash 🙂

This is a lovely half yard of Olaf fabric…Yes! the Olaf from frozen. My little one wants a bagpack from it and I have no clue how to make one.

I found a tutorial on the Birch fabric blog but that has cording and am yet to venture into that kind of complication in bag making. To be frank, I am just stumped…not much help from Pinterest either 😦
Looks like I will have to design my own pattern!
In the meantime, if you are reading this and have a link to any tutorial, please share it with me…thanks in advance!

This is an amazing find. I got this fabric in early January and quickly made a craft apron from it for an upcoming swap. You can see the details of the swap and the craft apron here.

So, this is a fabric find where the project came first and then comes the Sunday Stash post about acquiring the fabric 🙂 hmmm…
That’s a first and a strange one at that.
This is a lovely thick canvas, perfect for making bags and cushions for quilty friends. I bought this from Quiltaholics around the wake of the new year and is about 2 metres in length. That’s a lot of fabric at 60″ width for multiple small projects.

A new year calls for experimentaion with new designs, patterns and material! Here is a different material…some faux leather and some pure leather to try out in pouches and bags 🙂

Those pencils also have some lovely sayings on them …
Purple: Creativity pride Enlightenment Mystery Nobility
Red: Love Courageous passionate Sensual Power
Orange: Energy Playful Stimulation Enthusiasm Warm
Lets see what comes up through 2017 🙂

I have been following Sunday Stash at MolliSparkles for as long as I can remember and today Molli is celebrating the 200th post on this subject and Linky. It has been such a fun journey documenting my fabric and notion buys through the years with him. So, how could I possibly be left behind on this special occasion:)
Here is my Sunday Stash…some vehicle fabric, a traingle Quilting ruler, some florals and some roundals…did I miss out any shape here…ha ha
I have been wanting a triangle ruler for a while now; now that I have it, let me rush and start yet another WIP 🙂
I have just the perfect project in mind!

This weekend marks a rather functional kind of acquiring…
First thing on the list is a self healing mat. The earlier one was so old it wouldn’t heal. Next in line is some yardage of plain white. The white is primarily aimed at completing a chevron quilt which is stuck since the last couple of months due to lack of white yardage!
To add some colour, I also ordered some bright butterfly fabric from The Material Girls on facebook.

This week’s Sunday Stash consists of two half yard pieces.
While both are local Indian fabric, I love the one on top which has a European feel about it with castles in muted pastels.
Sunday Stash -Indian Fabric
The second one with triangles was bought purely to be inspired to make a triangle quilt. October then, is purely dedicated to triangles 🙂
On that note, I have also re-purposed an old board with a white laminate to form a base for some of my pictures, primarily small objects…yet to figure out a solution for quilts! For now, the sofa has to suffice for them 🙂
Both these fabrics are from ‘The Material Girls’ on Facebook!
